Punya Nachappa received her M.S. in entomology from the University of Georgia and her Ph.D. in entomology from Kansas State University. After completing her Ph.D., she was a postdoctoral associate at Kansas State University and Texas A&M University. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at Colorado State University, overseeing the Wheat entomology program, funded by Colorado Wheat, USDA-ARS, NSF-IUCRC, and FFAR.
